High-contrast baby animal app

One animal. One color. One delighted baby.

Bold black-and-white animal faces that blink, move and make their sound when a small hand touches them. No adverts and nothing to get lost in: a few minutes to share, then put away.

A one-time purchase on iPhone. No ads, no subscription.

Tap the sheep. That is the whole app.

How it works

There is almost nothing to it, on purpose

  • A black and white cartoon animal face on a one animal, one color tile

    One animal, one color

A black-and-white face on a single bright background. Nothing else on screen: no buttons to press by accident, no adverts, no menus.

  • A black and white cartoon animal face on a touch, and it answers tile

    Touch, and it answers

The animal blinks, moves and makes its sound. A touch, and something happens, which babies find extremely funny.

  • A black and white cartoon animal face on a swipe for the next friend tile

    Swipe for the next friend

Eight characters, each on its own color. A few minutes, a few animals, then the phone goes away again.

Why high contrast? · Guides for parents

What is in the app

Small, quiet and finished

No levels, no accounts, no settings to get wrong. It does one thing.

High contrast

Drawn the way young eyes see best

Bold black and white with one patch of color, the same idea as the contrast cards parents hold up for newborns.

No ads

Nothing to tap that you did not mean to

No adverts, no pop-ups, no links out. The only things on screen are an animal and a color.

Eight characters

Sheep, cat, tiger, elephant and friends

Each with its own sound and its own small animation, so the fourth visit is still a little bit new.

One price

Pay once

A one-time purchase. No subscription, no coins, nothing for a small hand to buy.

Short by design

Made for minutes, not hours

There are no levels and no streaks pulling anyone back. When the moment is over, it is over.

Together

Better with you in the frame

Name the animal, copy the sound, watch their face. The app is the prop; you are the show.

Questions parents ask

Before you buy

What age is Tiny Paws for?

It is drawn for babies and young toddlers, with a parent alongside. You should know what public-health guidance says first: the World Health Organization does not recommend sedentary screen time for children under 2, and advises no more than an hour a day, less being better, for ages 2 to 4. Tiny Paws is made to be a brief, shared moment rather than something to be left with, and how it fits your family is your call.

Will it help my baby's development?

We make no such claim. Babies do look longest at bold, high-contrast shapes, which is why the animals are drawn this way, but a few minutes with an app is not a developmental program. The things that matter most are still faces, voices, floor time and sleep.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

No adverts. It is a paid app with a single one-time price, and no subscription.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything is inside the app, so it works on a plane, in a waiting room, or anywhere without a signal.
